k guys i know this question has prob been asked a hundred times! apologies in advance!
I have the cash waiting for a punto engine conversion and want to find out the pros and cons of the 8v and the 16v?
Any advice greatly appreciated

8v is a very easy swap - only minor adjustments need to be made, not that much improvement in BHP but Torque is much better apparently (I still have yet to go and give my newly aquired 1242 8v a good thrashing!). The 16v presents you with a lot of problems for apparently not that much gain - in respect to the amount of time and money it would need to complete it - you would be better off (in my opinion) Turbo'ing a 1242 8v = 120BHP-ish or High Boosting and 1108 = 100BHP (*cough* buy mine *cough*) I also know how hard it is to do as the owner of GSR has it as his show car.
Is your Sei an SPI or an MPI btw?
