Hi all, my 100hp has failed its MOT due to a badly misshapen rear wheel. Does anyone know where I can locate a replacement? Nothing on eBay at the moment.
I would like to keep the car looking original rather than putting on some aftermarket ones, although I have seen one on a set of Coupe ones that looked nice.

fair few options

heres a couple

just get a cheap wheel and tyre s/h doesn't have to match just need the same tyre size, to get it through its MOT

or you could always get a full spare set and fit winter tyres


you can then find/repair the original at your leisure
 
£280 from a dealer who will import you one from Italy. Or..... as mentioned, get it repaired for about £100. Plenty pof specialists about,

Buying a second hand 100 wheels is never easy and they are nearly all battered and bent (Like the driver seats), you will probably end up repairing any replacement as well. Might as well just do your own. If you are deadset on a replacement, use the facebook group.
 
I solved the problem with pepper pot steels which (IMO) suit the car really well. Use a pale silver finish with bright centre caps.

Be VERY careful to get the correct offset. Some of the information web sites are wrong.

Morning, would you mind sharing a photo of the wheels fitted? I'm debating a refurb and am weighing up my options
 
Some time ago I posted a thread about steels on the 100HP and included pix of my car. However, I cannot find that thread. Pepperpot steels from Oponeo look great painted a pale silver. Similar wheels were used on the Alfa Spyder. You will need centre caps. I have some top hat shaped that fix with the M8 wheel/disc retaining studs. Be very careful to not go lower offset (ET) than the OEM alloys. Ideally go wider offset. The issue is clearance to the gearbox on full lock or inner rear wheel arches. Too much offset can be corrected with simple spacers. Too little offset affects the steering and cannot be corrected.
