Hello,
I am trying to set timing in my ducato 1.9td 1990. I purchased a timing locking set that is made for 1.7 and 1.9 diesel engines, fiat.

When I lock the camshaft, camshaft sprocket Mark is about 90 degrees off the block reference mark.

I believe that locking tool should match with the marks in sprocket And the block, doesnt it?

Hello.
Anyway I rotate the crankshaft, the camshaft tool always set the sprocket 90 degrees off the marks. Either way to the left or to the right.

Maybe that red tool can be tweaked or modified?
