Recently bought my 1.6SX 1998 Bravo, and it needs the
rear end exhaust replaced - i've just found out the cost of these things ! The cheapest quote so far is Kwik-Fit £170 inc. Is this typical? Sounds expensive,
although not as bad as Halfords, over £400 ! Local Fiat dealer was £242 but at least thats a fiat part....

Update

I've found a better price now at Micheldever Tyres, near Winchester, £148.

Rear Silencer Box

Chris , have you tried Powerflow for your rear box. Their Stainless Steel rear box will be tailor made for your car. You can also select one of about 20 different styles of tail pipe. I had one fitted to my HGT and am very pleased with the result. The cost was £150.
Cheers,
Richard

where did u go for this?

im also interested in a new Stainless Steel rear box
so i was just wondering where iv gotta go for one?

Exhaust

I got mine from Kwik-fit for £140 about 1 1/2 years ago on my 1.4sx. To be honest it's not a very good part and it sounds pretty rough when you hit the pedal. I found this was the cheapest option but you can tell the difference between this and an original part easily. So you might want to consider this.

Powerflow

Hi Mike, I live near Belfast so I had my Back Box fitted by my local Powerflow Agent, however if you phone the following, giving them your Location, they will tell you where your nearest dealer is. Phone No:-01392 203050 I got the No. from an old Max Power Mag. Hope this helps.
