I'm sure most are aware that if you have to get a dealer to change you pads its fairly expensive, Hartwells in Dunstable quoted me £170.

I had been looking on the EBC site every so often but they only recently put the bravo ones on there.

The standard replacements were about £20 for the set of you could get the GreenStuff pads which I have purchased for about £55 i used a scoobynet discount code which got me 15% discount.

I can't remember what the part number is for the standard replacements were, but for the GreenStuff's it is DP21383

These pads are the same pads that are used on the stilo, as it said stilo pads when they were delivered.

Myself and my mate decided to give it ago and installed them ourselves, i went to halfords and brought some 3 in 1 pro copper grease to put on the back of the pads for £4.99.

took us about an 1hr to do the left hand side which we did first and then only 20 Mins to the right once we had worked it all out!

when you replace the pads the left hand side of the car has the brake pad sensor (just so you dont go to put in on the otherside and then cut the sensor off thinking your car doesnt have it!)

If your going to do it yourself it really is a 2 person job as after getting the 2 bolts off of the caliper I had to counter balance the force of my mate pulling the caliper off as it was quite difficult!

Plus you need someone to the hold the caliper while the other puts the pads in and sorts the piston out, and the caliper is quite heavy!

The piston isnt too difficult to sort out, we put the new pad in and I held the caliper while my mate, put a bit of metal in front of the pad that was against the piston and then just pulled the metal againts the pad which pushed the piston back.

I have only had them on a day so they still need bedding in, they say 200 miles without very hard braking e.g. emergancy braking unless you have to and then 800 additional miles of normal driving till there fully bedded in.

I have to say that unbedded the brakes feel a whole lot better than the standards do and once bedded in, should brake really well :D

If you have any questions let me know, unfortunately didn't take any pictures as i just got on with the job!
