Why not just buy a HGT? Will be a lot cheaper in the long run after you have done the conversion and uprated everything else!

iirc the HGT engine is too big for the standard body, hence why the HGT actually has the marea front end...

forget the stilo engine, it would cost thousands just too get the fuel injection up and running plus what wimmy said.

has anyone done this before?
why would the stilo cost loads for the fuelling setup? surely I'd just get the whole lump with wiring harness and ECU then nothing needs to be changed other than brakes and driveshafts possibly? is the stilo 2.4 a 2.0litre 20valve just bored out?
has anyone supercharged a 20valve fiat engine? this is my ultimate goal... possibly rear wheel drive eventually
is there any how to websites that could give me some ideas?
Cheers guys...

Yeah i know this but I just want to be "different" lol and you often have to pay a price for it. My bro has just spent £3000 on turbocharging a honda CRX, the torque on that thing is awsome, he was looking into a second hand skyline but decided not to because he wanted something no one else had...
im suprised no ones done this already to be honest, what is a popular and easy fiat engine swap? :p
thanks for the replies guys...

the stilo motor wont work because of the can networks system and the code system thats tied into it.
engine swaping is more hassle than its worth what with electronic injection becoming more so complicated, wouldnt it make more sence too buy a hgt and s/charge that, or even squeez a coupe turbo lump in.
afaik the only fiat engine swap regularly done is the cinq sport with a punto 60 motor.

buy a HGT you can get them around £2800 now buy a 2.0 16v or 20valve coupe turbo lump put it in and super charge that, you will have to do some work to the front end cause there is no space for the super charger!!
or one better buy a coupe 2.0l turbo and super charge that!!!
that would probably be soooo much cheaper then all the labour costs you will have to pay to fit all the stuff to your bravo!!!
but i think its a waste of time and money i no u wanna be different but be sensible!!!!! if you hav the money do it!!
or if u wanna just super charge ur hgt there is a good looking electric super charger on e bay for most cars;)

You'll probably laugh at me for suggesting this but since this posts about trying something different, why not try something like a cosworth engine? Youd need to do some butchering of course;)
