1.2 Petrol Panda Engine Management light

My Engine Management light came on this morning flashed for about 30 seconds and went off. Does anybody know why?

Probably not related but When I turn on the engin I get a squealing noise. If I hit the accelerate pad it gets louder but goes away soon after.

Love my panda but not these issues.

Hi, panda specific problem really EML,

the noise is the alternator belt slipping,
get it tightened / changed,

then see if the EML comes on again,

may just be low power from alternator (Because of slipping belt) could also be a Lambda probe signal issue, IF it comes on again - get the fault codes read,

Hi thanks for the help. Will get it look at. Im planning on gettong a small service for €90 Any idea how much the belt fixing or replacement would cost. Also any chance it could the fan belt
