i have a 1.2 brava. I dont know anyting about "MPG" all i know is it costs me £34 to fill my tank to the brim and then i can get 300 miles (around town) before the light comes on.

What does everyone else get?

thats poor, my old 1.6 bravo cost 38 quid to fill and got me 450 miles... your 1.2 brava is costing more than the 1.6 lighter bravo!?

And Scorg - i aint filled my Stilo to the brim yet, but if my 1.6 gets that kind of economy i'll be laughin!!!! (y)

when you say £38, how many litres where you putting in?

that milage and fillup was from the brava, if I worked it out right, it just done 45mpg. think on average the stilo gets about 35 - 37mpg.
way things have worked out the stilo is being used on the shorter runs while the brava on the longer runs (and yet the milage is still higher on the stilo!)

As a side note, everyone tell how many litres they are putting into thier cars, litres stay the same, petrol prices do change, more dificault to try guess how much litres £34 gets so not really able to say if its good or not :)

Also it's the kind of driving you do paulmacs. You'll get more out of it if you cruise steadily, which I never do - I'm either stop-start in town or high-revs on the motorway, both of which eat fuel so I never get good economy and never will.

whats your idea of high revs ? :)

I done edinburgh to manc at back sitting at 90 all the way (4500 - 5000 rpm) and still managed 45 mpg
