Technical " 1.2 8v gearboxes, different gear selectors? HELP

Hi, my 2004 1.2 8v punto has a cracked gearbox casing, bought a 2nd hand one off a 2002 1.2 8v and the gear selectors on top of the gearbox are different.

Does anybody know if these can just be swapped over from my old gearbox without any issue?

some of the arms were different, can you put some pictures up. if the box is the same you may be able to just swap over the selector casing over or may not have to do anything

The FIRE engine boxes are all interchangeable, the upper selectors and arms and all can be swapped from box to box

Still suspect it's the Mk1 box you got.

No big deal, even the Cinq/Sei 1108 Sporting ones can be made to fit. (But not the 899 ones, or the Sei S or SX ones )

Its definitely off a mk2, 2002 model. The actual housing is the same, and so are the shaft no's.

Here are the part numbers the garage took off the gearboxes. Above the line is the gearbox on the car, below is the "new" one.
