Abarth rear conversion on my Fiat 1.2 500 Sport


The series 4 bumper was a direct swap and the garage put the exhaust on for £75

Ohhh it’s Gino!! Looking good!! I bet the exhaust sounds good! You should connect the lower lights and wire up the newer rear lights … they would look great on your car!
 
Very nice - I've toyed with that idea myself for my 1.2S. Does it have that lovely growly sound like an Abarth?

I presume an adapter section had to be used with the exhaust (if the Abarth pipe is thicker than the regular one) - do you happen to know what diameters are involved? As I think realising that was the point I shelved the plan last time!

Edit: The garage fitted the exhaust, I do know a pipe reducer was needed but not sure on the diameters
