General 1.0 3 cylinder Tipo advice

As some of you may remember my 1.4 T jet Tipo was written off by a drunk driver some 18 months ago now. The car was replaced by a 595 Abarth but its size and the fact every Dork in a German diesel engined car wants to play racy cars is starting to get on my nerves so my thoughts have turned to another Tipo.

At the weekend I test drove the new 1 litre engined Tipo and was initially quiet impressed, no where near as flat and under powered as I thought, the steering also seems better weighted than my previous Tipo.

Has anyone any experience of running one of these on a day to day basis?

Is it Fiats own engine and are there any issues?

Whats the real world MPG like?

Took a while for UK models to have it


No idea about its Tipo experience..

Was this a Hybrid..??

Thanks for that.
It was a straight petrol, no hybrid trickery. It was the only one the dealer had in stock and they had already sold it but I managed to blag them into letting me have a spin in it.
I'm told new Tipos are in short supply and dealers are struggling to get hold of them
