Airbag light popped up while driving, here's a pic:

Can't clear it, everything looks okay. Anyone had similar problems? Same (and only) error even without squib or airbag connected.

open circuit means open
it therefore is logical that an open circuit airbag warning would mean a break in the wire somewhere?
does your horn work as i always found no horn when the clock spring wiring had broked
isnt mes brilliant:D
ps crp129 by launch is quicker faster and more direct mind

Horn isn't working but I'm not sure it was working before :D
Tried to short out the airbag wires, no change. So it should be the clockspring?

Checked wires between airbag ecu and clockspring. Blue wire is ok but I'm not sure about brown/white, it has continuity to blue wire. Should it be like that?

Since its a Rotating Contact setup

Try rotating the steering wheel to different angles - Suddely does the horn work?
if the horn is working and then you move steering wheel away and it stops

Again it points to C/Spring been duff

Ziggy

Clock spring does not have a rotating contact.

While rotating the wheel might re-close a break on the flat conductor, it's unlikely.
