Technical '07 Bravo 1.9 Multijet shuddering at low revs

Hi folks,

I've bought a 2007 bravo 1.9 multijet around 3 weeks ago. It had just past it's MOT but i am now experiencing some heavy shuddering when idling, generally below 1000 rpm.

This is a new fault, but I have also been experiencing start-up issues - long turn over periods when the car has been sitting for more than day. I replaced the battery but the issue still persists.

I've had a search on the forum and seen a few possible reasons for this (plugs, ht leads etc.) but was hoping these problems might be linked and indicate a specific issue.

I would say i'm a novice when it comes to cars btw so bare that in mind haha.

Have you checked the motor mounts?

Usually if you can move the motor with the hand, or reduce the vibration just touching the motor when is working can be some of problem with motor silenblocks.
