Hello friends, I have a fiat tempra 1.6 and when is warm and turn off an let it 10 minutes it dont turn on...if i wait 40 minutes it turn on.... anyone knows the problem?? The fuel pump is new an the spurks and the crankshaft sensor

Hi Guys.

Ive heard of this happening on 1.4 Fiat uno's from mid 1990's with fuel injection.

I think the temperature sensors may be misreading the temperature once you have stopped and left the car for a while so it will give a false reading to the injection system so the fueling is out when you try to start.

When it next happens next try pouring a little water over the temperature sensor and see if this makes a difference.

I had this problem with the 2.0 ie. I am not sure which of the two resolved the issue but both the fuel pump and the fuel filter was changed. You did not mention fuel filter so perhaps that should be a consideration.
