Tempra 2 litre SW 1995 and still running!
I thought I’d share this problem I had. Indicator stalk normal position, relay starting pulsing immediately when ignition switched on. Changed relay, no difference. Tracked it down to faulty indicator stalk. Obtained new stalk from breakers yard but they sent me nearly identical replacement (manufactures mark the same) but the angle of the stalk hit the steering wheel. Couldn’t use it. Discovered unscrewing four screws on the stalk releases back plate so swopped this with mine. Job done! Basically my faulty stalk was shorting out (130 ohms) on the left indicator contacts due to grease and grime. Cleaned contacts…..now OK but cannot use as spare for reason above.
