Dear Guys
I have A Problem with my Fiat Tempra, some times is running correctly and times I can’t move it because when I’m driving the car there are many strongly jerks. All the filters, Lambda sensor ,spark plugs are new.
I don’t know what the problem could be.
I need help
Thanks a lot

Have you checked all the vacuum hoses? Including the booster hose and the one which goes to the digiplexII

er where is that like i said im not very good with cars

The vacuum hoses are black rubber and about 8mm in diameter hoses.
You can find them arounf the carburetor.
These hoses tend to become stiff and crack as time goes by. Check that all these hoses are fresh and flexible.

The digiplexII is the engine's ignition tunning system and it looks like a metalic box with cooling fins, and it is mounted on the firewall (the wall behind the engine)/ There is also a vacuum hose aatached to it.

The booster hose is a little wider and it goes the the break booster which looks like a thick black plate. If this hose is danaged vacuum may escape and "confuse" the engine's computer.

I had the same problem in my Fiat Tempra station. It took me three years to solve it. In the front of the car there is on the left side a charcoal filter that filters the fuems from the tank and burns them any time the computer opens a valve. It seems that some times the output from the filter is not fuems but also gas so the computer goes into a cutoff mode. Solution ! just disconnect the rubber pipe that goes to the charcoal filter.I did that and i had no problems from then on. Few days ago i moved the charcoal filter (not very easy) a liitle higher and i will see if the problem appears again of course with the hose connected. It seems that happens only when you fill up and you go uphiil or down hill. Good luck
