Technical Fiat Tempra Best preformance Spare Parts

Hi there ppl !

I'm rookie in this area so I would like to receive some advices from the experts from this subject.
I bought a Fiat Tempra Car 1.4 and I would like to put it going a little faster can anyone help me?
I have talked with a people and they tell me to put a air filter to make a little speed.
I would like to Know if it's pos´sible to change other spare parts to make it faster and one more thing like I read before my suspension when the car goes faster it seems like a boat with a bad sea.

So many questions I hope to receive some awnsers from you ppl.

an air filter will help performance
also you could look into a perfomrance exhaust
as for the suspension, i'm not sure on the parts availiable, was there a sporty tempra? if so it may have had stiffer suspension and would probably be easily swapped for your own, it is also possible that tipo parts would fit.
