Technical About intake manifold on carb 1.6

Hello!

My inlet manifold has, at the back to the right (looking from front of the car), a water pipe entering in from a part of the LPG equipment, which uses water from the cooling circuit. Strange issue is, it seems there is no water pipe actually exiting from the inlet manifold!

My question is: Tempras without LPG, so petrol-only, do have any water pipe entering the inlet manifold or there is just a cap closing that hole?

Here it can be seen where that water pipe enters the intake manifold.

Here there is the back of the intake manifold, with plenty of small pipes (should be for vacuum from manifold for brake booster and Digiplex), the water pipe that enters and a cap on the other side (arrow with "?"). It seems there isn't a pipe for making that water flow away??

Logically. if there is only one water pipe on the manifold, then it HAS to return through the manifold walls through the gasket to the head.

I believe it is done like this to prevent condensation on the inside of the manifold. Years ago I had an old Austin van that suffered from just this problem, it would not start and run properly until the manifold had warmed up.

My 1.6IE died a while back, so I've nothing to compare it to, but from what I remember your pipework looks the same.

Had a look at ePER and realized that some of the holes on the gasket must be for water rather than for fixing bolts... Thank you!
