They physically look the same.
My guess is the FPT is a Fiat branding, and the number is the Fiat part number, branded so only available through Fiat dealers. Perhaps so Fiat can see if serviced at a Fiat authorised service centre.

Yes they are. Shop4parts. FPT is Fiat Power Train. It was indeed part of Fiat for a few years selling parts for Fiat and indeed some Vauxhall bits, but stopped being an entity a while back although its obviously still going may be under Mopar management. If you look at most parts they have the FPT logo on them under your bonnet. S4P sell the FPT plugs quite cheaply. or did last year. I have a full box on my shelf as the price drops the more you buy.

As long as they are still available over the counter..that is fine.

They ARE NGK ( branded NGK AND FPT )..but have a different part No. than the direct NGK plugs I replaced them with.
