Good evening everybody and thanks for reading my first thread,
My name is Oliver and I own a Fiat Ducato (2.8 JTD) Bilbo Campervan conversion from 2001.
I am looking for a spare part for the PMS3CD controller unit.
Unfortunately I was not able to locate the part as of yet. I have spend time searching the internet as well as this forum without success, hence I have to ask all the experts out here for help.
The part I am looking for is the battery selector switch (picture "Battery Selector Switch") that is responsible to switch between the 3 options AUX / OFF / VEH. This part is faulty as I might have fried it, hence it needs replacing.
It has 4 prongs at the end which to me seems to be very rare, given the difficulties I faced in locating a new one.
Frist question:
Has anyone an idea where to get this?
Second question:
If I can’t get this 4 prong switch anywhere, is it possible to use a 3 prong one? (Picture "Battery Switch 3 Prong") In the description of the website selling the 3 prong it says for PMS3 but again, can I use this without problems?
Any advice or ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance and have a great weekend.
Oliver
