The red engine management fault light intermittently comes on on my 2001 (X) Multipla 1.9 JTD along with the Contact Garage message.

When this happens there is a brief loss of power or it won't accelerate for a few seconds then all is ok again, sometimes the message and light go off by thmeselves until the next time it happens but always clears when ignition is cycled, other than this it starts ok and drives ok although always seemed a bit lacking of power.

There are no fault codes stored, the only fault I could see was no output from the MAP sensor on live data, I have replaced this but fault still present, its had the egr blanked off but this was working ok anyway and a new Bosch MAF sensor has recently been fitted.

:bang: Any ideas anyone? getting a bit fed up with it now - one faults cured and two more arrive!!

That Reads like there is no connection between the sensor and the ECU

Just a flat line on the live data even when engine revved, as no difference when sensor changed my next plan is to check for 5 volts/earth at connection.
Must be an intermittent wiring fault.??
