I just bought a used Qubo 1,3 multijet diesel(2013) two month ago. It had several problems with fuelenjection leak and diesel smell. The dealer repaired the problems but now the fuelpump has problems sucking up the diesel.
It runs fine for 400 km and then after a short coffebreak it will not start. You can hear the pump sucking bubles of air under the rear seats. Sometimes you can hear it humming the way it should and then you can drive 30 meters and then runs out of fuel. The bubble noise from the pump will continue for several minutes.

There´s plenty of fuel in the tank.
Any ideas ?

When it does it try removing the fuel cap,
if there is a vacuum in the fuel tank check
the relief valve in the cap is not shuck.

Thank you Ralph.
That could be the issue. I allready tried to fix it by adding fuel by removing the cap.
It did’nt seem to solve the problem.
Still the fuelpump sounds like a kid blowing air through a straw i a soda.
Its a strange problem... sometimes it runs perfect for 100km...
Problem occurs only after a engine stop or after a nights sleep.

Thank you for your comments.
Just got my Qubo back from the dealer today. They cleaned the fuelpump and filter.
Looking forward to see if the problem is solved.
In the moment the car is driving smoothly so far.
