My tailgate wont unlock on my WAV
The Wheelchair Adapted Vehicle
adapted (by Gleneagles Conversions, Cupar, Fife (now closed permantly)

the rear door is fitted with a manual interior pull switch connected by Bowden cable, just below the tailgate window glass
The Doblo tailgate is shielded from inside access by a four foot long metal ramp currently folded up inside the rear of the vehicle almost flush with the tailgate which makes access to the lock mechanism very tricky but handy for a long arm monkey...Fortunately the plastic cover for the inside of the tailgate has been removed (to allow a recent change of wiper motor)
Today I foolishly used the manual release pull mechanism for the first time since 2008 and the doorlock will now wont release. The Key, WD 40 and the central locking operation wont release it either.
Any clues please as I would like to get my eBike out to go for a ride on a lovely day near Edinburgh

This problem now fixed!
I managed to release the (seized) Bowden cable attached to the inside of the tailgate lock - this has now allowed the tailgate lock to work normally - like it has done for over twelve years
I was very lucky that I had already removed the inside plastic cover for replacing the wiper motor recently as the position of the interrnal folding wheelchair ramp would have made this quick fix almost impossible to access.
Looking at the other posts, Youtube videos (none) helped me evolve a solution
