Hey!
I need some advice reg the clutch on my X1/9 which has been turbo converted.
We have the engine/gearbox from the Uno Turbo, and it has been working absolutely fine for about 2 year since we did the conversion.
Been driving it more or less the whole summer, every single day.

A week ago, the clutch pedal took about 3 cm from the bottom, and managed to drive to the workshop, when there checked the engine bay and there was a leak from the slave cylinder. (Slave cylinder is from the X1/9)
Tried to air the system to get pressure in the system and the pedal = nothing. Changed the master/headcyliner also as we thought the problem would lie there.
Tried again to air the system to get some pressure in the pedal = nothing.
We have disconnected the pipes by the slave cylinder, checked the fluid is actually coming thru the system, and it is. Actually with pressure when disconnect.
But when connected again to the slave there isn't any pressure at all.
The pin from the arm on the slave is moving just slightly.

Anyone got ANY advice on what this could be?

We are thinking of trying to plug the pipe end into the master and see if there is pressure in the pedal then.

What exactly do you mean by "tried to air the system"?

If you mean bleed the system until it is air free, we found that it was very difficult on the X1/9. We had success when we jacked the rear of the vehicle as high as we dared so that the air bubbles travelled up hill on their way from the master to the slave cylinder.
