Hi guys, I’ve got a motorhome on a Fiat ducato base 2011, while driving back through France my clutch peddle dropped the the flour, I’m thinking it’s the slave cylinder, would that be correct, if so how difficult are they to replace? I’m very mechanical minded and able. My motorhome is still in France and I’m thinking of going back, fixing it and bringing it back. Thanks
Sorry for the long first thread ?

I suggest you find out first of all if the slave cylinder is external or a concentric internal one in the gearbox bell housing. If concentric then the gearbox has to come off so you might as well do the clutch and possibly the dual mass flywheel at the same time. This could all be something that will be too difficult for you to do in France?

It could also be that the clutch diaphragm spring has broken. I had this on my 1.9 MJet Croma 2005. Pedal becomes very soft/easy to push and readily descends to the floor and needs assistance in getting back up.
