Hi all, new to the forum.

I recently upgraded my 2009 Croma infotainment system as it lacked Bluetooth and required a separate Sim to operate. I put it a basic Pioneer double DIN with BT.

I wrongly assumed that the infotainment system that was originally fitted was a mirror of the car settings found to the left of the steering wheel (LHD model) on the MODE button, that can be viewed in the drivers instrument panel.

Turns out that old infotainment dinosaur is the main way to change car settings such as interior light timing, airbags on and off and other important actions.

Cars that have this system have a reduced menu on the MODE button, therefore I've lost the ability to change any setting by changing the head unit.

My question then, is there a hack or workaround in order to access the cars menu without this original head unit? Or a way of downgrading the car's system like the models without the infotainment system?

Thanks in advance
