Hi,
If anyone can help punto jtd 80 8v 2002
I assume its the same as some stilos and Alfas.

Fitting a new turbo I snapped the oil feed banjo bolt that goes into the block I've got it out, anyone know where to buy one or what size it is?
The head is 15mm at the very least what thread pitch they are would help.

Thanks if you can.

Google fiat dalys
Go to web site
Use parts catalogue
See if the thread spec is on the part detail

If you got old bit out why not measure the thread?

Thanks I'll try that I don't have a thread gauge..I can measure the bolt size but I'm not sure on the pitch..
The exhaust nuts and turbo nuts were all 1.25 pitch so I would of thought it would be that, but I could be wrong.

If you have a bolt thread of a known pitch say 1.25mm hold the threads against the bit you have removed, if the threads mesh perfectly then the pitches are the same.

Or count ten peaks and measure with a rule , divide rule measurement by 10 to get pitch.

The bolt diameter across the peaks of threads give the other bit of thread size (not the spanner size)

Awesome thanks yes I know the measurement for the say m10 but didn't know the calculation for the pitch and didn't think to google it, never occurred to me it was an equation you could do with a rule..

Thanks as you seem knowledgeable I've swapped a ihi vl20 for gt1544 from a marea 105hp, straight swap both wastegate its still a small turbo but was new and cheap, any idea if its worth putting a restricted banjo bolt on to help with smoke if I turn the fuel and boost up, should probs start a new thread.
Cheers
