Right back again ? changed the gear oil but to no avail I’ve been out in the car today and it did crunch a couple of times from cold but once warm it was ok I called in at the fiat dealer who said it may benefit from a clutch recalibration and wanted 2hrs labour at £220 , is there anyone trustworthy around southyorkshire that could do this for me as I don’t trust the tinpot dealer in Sheffield?

Yes I understand that I thought you meant it were a section of the forum to check lol , should I post an ad to see if anyone has software in my area or would you let stealers do it ?
No to dealer that said 2 hours that robbery.
Get the software your self and a lead to connect to car it's cheap.
