My 2003 punto mk2 2B 1.2 8v 60Bhp has developed a fault,at low speeds under 30mph it hunts aggressively, at 40+ its fine.

I was told the fault could be the egr valve, but I'm unable to locate it, so far I've changed timing belt, plugs leads, coil packs throttle sensor, map and or crank sensor, pre cat o2 and post cat 02 sensor, cleaned the throttle body, and developed a misfire sound as though firing on 3 plugs, I've added injector cleaner, and the result is low power until it warms up,
My engine has no leaks and only 60k on the clock, now it's show an engine management light, any help would be appreciated

Thank you in anticipation

Hi and welcome :)

Please see my reply below ;)

A little info:

On Board Diagnostics

Is an industry standard of Fault and Error codes

Readers start @£10...
good ones ..with extra features ..@£30

But.. those are ENGINE ONLY ;) so no airbag or ABS diagnostics

Hi.

They are pretty tough..and simple... engines

Does it use oil or water... start well hot and cold.... temp gauge sit in middle ok?

How many thousand good miles did you drive until this started?

Ok.. your light will have left a stored code... plug in a cheap OBD reader and tell us the code.. that will be a great help :)
