Hi Folks,
My Scudo 1.6 turbo (HDI) engine cut out at 60mph near the end of a 70mile drive
My fault code reader says p0192 Fuel Rail Pressure low.
I loosened a fuel injector pipe nut and turned the engine over,
No fuel appeared. checked that the timing belt was intact.
Was advised that the high pressure pump needed replacing,
replaced that, What A Nightmare Job, but done and no change.
still wont start. blew out the fuel pipes, and made sure there was no air in any of the pipes,
Don't have anything to measure the rail pressure except the scan tool which seemed to say 5000psi while cranking after replacing the pump.
the fuel filter was full.
I also bypassed it to make sure it wasn't blocked.
One of the first things I checked was for leaks and found none.
still no joy
.
Anyone got any ideas? lost 2 days work and cant afford to lose more. any help appreicated. Regards D.
