Ok my punto mk1 1998 battery keeps going flat thing is I only use it once a month at the minute
So can I charge the battery via the obd port or what every it’s called on the punto
Sorry used to jdm obd2 cars lol
Tried a solar with cable into ciggy sock but think that turns off when ignition is off

You can get a croc clip connector..

Connect to battery direct.

Other easy option.. get a 'battery isolator'.. around £10 on ebay

Once a month.. I suppose tbat is tolerable

The mk1 has a constant live to the cig socket. I have a solar charger plugged into there on mine and it works perfectly

Is the battery dead flat.. or just cant turn engine over?

Hi battery is ok when a charge is given but because don’t use it much battery goes flat I’ve got a solar panel plugged in but in the winter doesn’t do much
That why I was asking if I could use obd socket and plug a mains cable into it
The car is next to a garage so I can get power to it
Just want to legit on trickle charge like my others cars
