what i do...any help?

Sticking it into Google says its the OE fit in a Brava, made by Grundig. The pictures of the front face do not show the model number.

So, if the model number is known, either it has been out of the vehicle, or the owner has the instruction book, which may show the model number.

Usual reason for a single digit display is that it is waiting for its security code to be input. That would be so if it had been removed from the vehicle, or was a replacement from another vehicle. Can also happen if the battery has been disconnected. Most units now are coded to the car, and will not need this code if used in its original vehicle. Older units often needed the code, so this could be the issue here. Once again, we don't get the full story.

Look in the handbook for the security code input section.

Yes it is Grundig from Brava. My friend give it to me and said to check something that the radio had some problem but when i plug it on my desk nothing happens only 0 is displayed and he doesent have any manual for it. From what i found on the online available manuals 0 on display is not mentioned anywhere

Search on this forum is pretty good :)

Especially if you filter to the ICE .. and Brava sections ;)

As it is not connected to its vehicle, it is demanding its code before it will operate. Originally the code will have been supplied with the car, but it is always recommended to keep it safe, away from the car, so is effectively lost to subsequent owners. The code may be available from an internet search. There's a thread on here, but I'm not sure if that covers Grundig units.

An instruction book may be found via Google if you're lucky. Probably same as any Grundig unit of similar age, so cast the search wide.
