The Parking sensor on our 2004 Idea has stopped working ...I looked at the ePER file and I can see a control box in the rear left compartment in the boot and another under the bonnet on the right at the front ...any one know what these controllers do and ...in the event of the sensor not working what is the first thing to look at ?....thanks ..jeff..

Just discovered this afternoon that the seat belt warning sound emitting diode dose not emit any sound ......so is it the same thing as the parking sensor warning sound emitting diode ...? and where is it ?

Check the volume settings first..

Ah thanks for that ...I must confess I did not know there was a volume setting ...but I will check it ..but would it change unless I changed it ..?

Right I checked the volume setting on the Idea ...and it was at 1 ...I changed it to 7 but the parking sensor and the seat belt buzzer still not working ....what next ? any one know where the buzzer is ?
