Re set the service interval on my Idea

Hi ...well I took my Fiat Idea that I bought a few weeks ago to get a full service and cam belt replacement on Friday to a local guy who does my truck ...so new cambelt and tensioner , a new boot on the nearside driveshaft plus oil seal, a set of plugs, transmission oil , engine oil and filter, air filter,new brake pads on the front , clean out the rear drums and adjust handbrake , replace bottom banjo type engine mounting, top up brake/clutch fluid and coolant ...328 euros ...not bad I thought ...so I 'd like to re- set the body computer ...so it does not flash up... "service expired" when I first start up ..I can get into the Service Menu ..but thats it ...the manual is useless any hints ...

I just did a bit more research ....and it seems you cant re -set the service expired warning thing ..with out a thing for the laptop , cables and a bit of soft ware ...Duhh...

Not without a windows VM that has access to either bluetooth or a USB port depending on the type of ELM 327 interface you're planning to use.:bang:
