Hi,

I am new to this forum and have joined because I have recently purchased a new FIAT Ducato based Campervan. I have previously been driving Citroens and have used Lexia and Diagbox quite a bit on the fleet.

If they do have a fault log, can it be read by MES or any other Fiat software.

Cheers, Ken

Thanks for the reply s130.

So I take it from your reply that one ECU does keep a log of fault codes that come and go in other ECUs and that MES can read that fault log. Do you know if the entries in the log are identified by a time/date stamp or kilometers travelled?

Cheers, Ken

They usually have an engine startup count among other parameters when the error occured. No date/time i think.

Hi Ken.

If its just engine..

Then most readers should see something.

Some faults will be logged at a certain 'mileage point' ... but the accuracy of that may not be Guaranteed.

mes is indeed recommended.
