I have a Fiat Punto 1.3 Mjet 2012+
It has been remapped and runs fine, except for the cruise control who has stopped working after the remap. I know my battery is not that good anymore, but the CC won't even turn on (no message on the display and no light on the dash) and was working before the remap.
I connected a licensed version of MES to my car to read out the car. All the pedal switches are working, but the ECU is not responding on any actions from the CC stalk (normaly you would see what button you press in the ECU).
I tried to execute the CC light on the dash from actuators, but even that won't come on.
In the body computer, MES reads that both CC options (until and from 2009) are enabled.
I can do a proxi alignment procedure, but the note's in MES scare me a bit because of the Country Alarm mode and Indicators command being set to factory settings and needing the security code of the car to adjust these later, which I don't have.
What is the worst that could happen doing a proxi alignment procedure to try to connect the CC and if the battery is bad, what can the CC behavior be?
