Hi I have a 2009 Fiat Ducato Motorhome it is currently left hand drive is it possible for me to get it converted to right hand drive for the uk

It'll be a lot of work.
As well as the physical bits, dash, steering, pedals, etc., there's also the wiring loom which won't just turn upside down and a body computer that might get upset. If rear fog and reverse lights are one-side only, these may need changing, although if made for the UK market should be ok.

My thoughts would be find a similar age van that's been written off and use it as a donor for everything, including wiring, keys if necessary and engine and body computers.

Why do you need/want to convert it?
What issues do you thing LHD will cause you. People may be able to advise how to live with these.

Best option is to sell it and buy a RHD example.

Although, as it's a motorhome, I probably would't bother. Driving LHD in the UK isn't a big issue and it's much nicer when you go on holiday.

Hi thanks for the advice the Motorhome that I purchased is German built had a look below the bonnnet the master cylinder is on the left looking at the front and the heater box on the right but can’t see if these can be changed from one side to the other as the sound deadening on the bulkhead

Seriously, it's not worth the hassle, even if it can be done.

The only reason to 'need' RHD in the UK is to make overtaking easier on A-roads (unless you regularly use car parks with ticketed barriers or the M6 toll).

You're not going to be doing a lot of that in a motorhome!

As above, i would'nt bother. The master cyl. would probably stay in the same place anyway on RHD with a linkage to the drivers' side. The main thing you'd need to examine is if the bulkhead will physically take the conversion- "back in the day" there was usually no difference between bodyshells but what with newer crash regs. ETC they are usually specific to either RHD or LHD. Again as above, if you really want to do it then finding a scrap Ducato, or it's Peugeot/Citroen equivalant, would be the most economic way of doing it.
