Hi all.
I recently purchased a 2003 campervan on a Fiat Ducato chassis. 2.8 JTD.

I want to replace the clutch myself as it is slipping in 3rd gear and there is a lot of play in the pedal.

The vehicle plate says the motor code is 8140.43, version 244CPMAC.

My problem is trying to identify the exact clutch required. As the camper is an import to Ireland, the registration doesn't come up with the clutch model and the best I've been told by a supplier is that they would require the original part numbers from the current clutch that is fitted.

I don't particularly want to start stripping it until I have the replacement clutch.

Would anyone have any advice on the correct clutch type/number that I need?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

best bet would be to try and figure out which of the options you have.. regarding ,
build date,
model (244)
engine type
gearbox type

use ePER to cross reference the options,
