I have a fiat ducato based motorhome 2005], the heater speed switch seems to have packed up, it was working if you kept tapping it, any ideas on how to get to the switch as it looks like I need to take the dash apart,which would mean the radio,ashtray and other bits an bobs.
Is it a reasonable job to attempt?

I,ve a similar problem but on other vehicles it has been caused by a control unit not the switch I,ve posted a question as to its location

Found control unit behind L/H lower corner of large central dash pocket just disturbing the wiring connection got it working again
