Hi, I have purchased a ODB2 Bluetooth adapter from eBay and my phone see's the adapter but it's not getting any information from the car ECU. What am I doing wrong. The pin for the adapter is correct etc, is it because it is compatible? Or something else? I am using Torque Pro software as well.

Forum etiquette is to wait at least 24 hours before bumping a post. ;)

Most members on here use MultiECUscan software for Fiat diagnostics and ECU programming, so are probably not familiar with Torque Pro. Bluetooth interfaces are not recommended for ECU programming, so members are probably not familiar with that either.

You may need to wait some time to get meaningful reply to your post.

Sorry, I was just wondering if the adapter isn't compatible with the ECU and which one should I buy. If anybody has used one successfully please let me know. I don't mind buying the software but not if it's going to work etc.

Once again thanks for the update and hopefully someone can help me out. Cheers Lee

It was a software thing, so just need to buy the right stuff now.I found using Alfa odb software on a demo version works fine. So just to decide where to get it from.
