My Grande punto has once again brought me to you for advise.
I drove from Dublin to Cork today, and about 50km to my destination i noticed check engine light go on and thermometer showing like below 0) (engine temperature). I pulled over, checked the coolant, checked if the coolant pipes are full, which they were. Coolant was full. I drove home with the thermometer either showing below zero or going up to normal temp and then going down again. Before i go to my mechanic tomorrow, I have a gut feeling this may be the thermostat talking? Sorry if i posted in a incorrect section. Car drove home fine, and is starting up fine. Driving quality hasn't changed.
Edit, the fain inside is blowing normal temperature as I sait, hot and cold.
