I have had a look around but without luck of finding a definitive answer, I'm trying to find out if my car obd is 1 or 2. I've read things suggesting about cars before 2004 are obd1 but not all cars, I would just like to know what mine is before buying a reader.
I have had a look on the car for a sticker but can't find it for the life of me and I didn't get a manual when I bought the car.
I'm asking because I have a problem, every time I take the car up to high revs the EML comes on, the car itself doesn't drive any different and it soon disappears when I just potter along but it comes back on when I put me foot down.
I've had a look around the engine and cant see nothing loose or out of place, so hoping a reader will help me find the problem.
I welcome any advice, thanks guys
