Panda T-Jet 250, and locking wheel nut help required.

Evening ladies and gents,

Project Panda Arrabbiata is under way! Yes, we're going for 250 brake in a panda...

Panda - Check
Salvage Bravo T-Jet 150 - Check
Salvage Bravo T-Jet 150 Locking wheel nut tool - Not so check...

Looks like haggling for the bravo wasn't such a good idea, someone might have kept the LWN tool for fun.

Back to why I'm here; Firstly to document the progression from 1.2 8v Panda dynamic - With a whopping 59bhp, to Panda T-Jet 250, which will hopefully happen from the start to finish of the 2016 sprint series.

And secondly... I'm sure that a few of you are Fiat encyclopaedias, can anyone identify Fiat LWN codes from a Photo? To be repaid with beer / eternal gratitude / panda porn. Whatever suits really. Keep an eye out for progress either way!

Much obliged,
Craig

eBay item 181753302262 for a locking key,

Good luck with the build

Thanks mate! will use that as a last resort, I presume the keys cost loads less from fiat?

We're just outside of Brighton, so hardly on your doorstep unfortunately, but thanks for the offer, that's awesome.

That is from a dealer (research fiat?) I think the keys are supposed to cost more but from eBay they're around £25,

If you don't have the code they can identify it from a good picture of the key pattern though the code makes it easier (there's a choice of about 12)

plastic box or bag (with the standard wheel bolts) that has a piece of card with a 3 digit key number on it, upon purchase we need you to supply this key number so that we can identify which key it is you require

If you do not have the key number and do not know the code please message us and we can try to identify it for you with a high quality photograph

I didn't think there would be many codes / keys being an OEM item. Well spotted Gaz, I'll go with that then. Not sure I'll get beer to Scotland, though I do have family in Glasgow. If we do a road trip to Scotland when its finished, I'll say Hi. Until then it'll have to be eternal gratitude.

Cheers

Interesting project! Looking forward for a work log :)

Those don't work well on modern locking wheel bolts. Most including Fiat have a sleeve on the outside of the bolt head that rotates when this simple type of tool tries to grip the outside. The OPs photos clearly show that the bolts have this sleeve. It may be possible to compress the sleeve enough to grip the bolt but it's unlikely if the bolt is tight.
