Hi need to remove front drivers seat on Fiat 500 2008 and try and find out why the back rest tilt is becoming increasingly difficult to operate ie becoming stiffer.

There is an air bag in the bolster, what is the correct procedure to isolate?, is it as simple a disconnecting the battery. Advice most welcome. Thank you.

Disconnect the battery and allow to stand for 30min before disconnecting the wiring on the seat and you should be ok.
