ah another day another wee problem...

this time a fuel issue.. the other day I left work didn't get to far before parking up and discovered a puddle of diesel under my dubby there was so much fuel under the bonnet I had to walk away for a good while and a trail of derv as far as I could see.. I was frantic but kept cool popped the bonnet and inspected around fuel filter and pipes I discovered the larger black seal had popped out around the edge of the fuel filter so after doing my messages and coming back I un plugged the electrics from the base and resealed the seals and screwed the filter on super tight by hand... issue solved I hoped I ran her for a few minutes and all looked ok and no leaks.. Thursday Friday no problems...tight dry clean working fine..
Saturday today I went for a short spin had wife and child in with me i stopped and again an other puddle of derv under her and engine bay swimming with derv....

only this time the wettest part was on the left where the little black box is (there is a pipe that goes from the black box to the first injector...)
after a fare while I turned on the ignition and a mist of derv was coming out of a tiny hole in the rubber pipe from the black box to the first injector there are no clips on either end of this rubber pipe but the black box end of the pipe looks a bigger diameter than the injector end.... the hole in the rubber pipe was tiny and located where the plastic stopped coming out of the black box... (I have just last week acquired a donor doblo exactly same jtd year and all so I got a lift home took off the one that was on it and thought happy days)... I returned to mine and sat about swapping them out ... all was good till I turned on the ignition and the wife said it swelled up and burst in the same place as the original (it was old but and didn't look to good ant way) I had to go back and cut a bit off the original pipe and try to refit it I also got cable ties and although it was shorter by this time was able to get it on enough at each end and put a cable tie at each end to hold it in place...job done. Drove home and everything is dry and normal...

now my questions?????????????????
1 is this an issue you have seen before????? did it lead to anything else?????

2 is this the start of more trouble????? what should i test or look at next?????

3 is this rubber pipe just a standard size fuel pipe available from any good mechanic that has just expanded at one end because the plastic pipe the comes out of the black box is just a bigger diameter??????

4 if the answer to question 3 is standard size what is the diameter/dimensions?????

5 if you have any top advice give me a bell please xxxxxx coz i would like to give my doblo to my wife to use and with 2 kids and the sliding doors etc. it really suits her needs but I don't need a fire on my hands.....

PS I also have the donor doblo for parts complete fuel system minus the pipe I took of for the issue above and if you need any parts i can see if it has them its been lying for a few years but the mechanic says it was running but the gearbox is shot.....that's why i bought it incase my engine went bang..
i know this is a tall tale but would really appreciate any help on this i have my dubby running well after the crank sensor issue and spent a small fortune with front shocks, strut mounts, ball joints, bushings, water pump and timing belt all new to name a few passed mot and I was hoping not to have to spend much more on it and give it to the missus as I am getting 68 mpg at the mo
