hello. I have a fiat punto mk1 1.2 16v 85 hp five-door.
I press the key command button and the doors do not open. Only open directly with the key in the lock. I've changed the battery already.
I started to examine the car and I found in the right rear of the car by the low rack and next to the speaker a black box with a green LED and a hole that seems to be a button. The green LED flashes when I press the button with the tip of a pen.
What should I do now for the command to work with the receiver?

I'll put here a box image.
I need help please.

Hard to say, looks like some kind of aftermarket set up rather than factory fitted. Is the remote part of the key or a separate fob?

Yes the remote is part of the key. Can you help me?

O.K. you have a factory fitted system but I think the box you have found is an add on for some other system and not related to the central locking. You need to have the remote tested - cheap testers available on ebay- and if it is working then it probably needs recoding. This is a specialist job but you will also need the code card that came with the car when new.

I do not have the code of the keys.
If the black box on the back is not the central locking then where is it?
It's strange because this black box on the back has a green LED that flashes when I press small button near him but if I press the key command button after pressing the small button the LED flashes again.
is there any universal receiver that will result to program for my command?
or is there any way to get the code of the keys, since I have not?
