hi,
not too familiar with LPG systems..

is this a FIAT factory fit "dualfuel"

or was it done at UK registration - for tax benefits,

the make of the system would also help,

Charlie

Started juddering then days later stopped
I have had the car for 3 years never been serviced !,,,

Hi thanks for the reply,
Have you any knowledge of this systems??
Is there a relay or fuse for the gas
Is there a pump on a gas system??
Thanks

Hi again..,

the smiley face + thumbs are for "liking + thanking" posts,

pretty sure MEP runs a LPG equipped FIAT,

where are you based ?, as we may well be able to recommend somebody local'ish to you who knows their stuff,

No pump, should be pressure fed.

There will be a number of different filters, which should all be changed to start with.

This is beyond DIY level though due to the pressures the LPG is stored at, needs to go to a specialist.

my only REAL experiences with LPG are via a friend with a classic RangeRover.. , him being a LPG forklift engineer, came in VERY handy!!

Thanks for all your help

I live in Bulgaria and i went to a specialist and he sucked wind through his teeth and told me 650 pounds or the equivalent
But i cant think anything can cost that much here!!!!!
he said there is a pump in the tank which i thought odd,so i am going to another one to see what they say
The thing is it costs about 4oo quid for a full installation here for a small car so i was a bit shocked ,in genral people here are the best so i am wondering <<

I know after 9 years here they do have a Bulgarian price and an English price
so i will let you know

I have experience with LPG systems.
If system switching to PETROL right after you switch to LPG then it's pressure related problem.

So it's ether a problem from tank hoses to vaporizer

Example, locked closed solenoid valve or damaged line.

OR there is a problem to vaporizer.

It's pretty easy to find where is the problem if you connect the LPG ECU to computer and read the sensor values :)

(there is no pump btw on lpg systems only valves and vaporizer. The hole system is based on gas pressure itself)
