Just thought I'd say,
I hate/loathe/despise/want to smash all dual mass flywheels.
Sure, I understand them, and to a certain degree appreciate their duty in providing a cushioned blow to my sensitive gearbox....but lets face it - they usually cost more than the vehicle to replace.
First my Transit had a rubber mounted DMF which failed. Since I wasn't feeling particularly exotic I let a garage do the work and got suitably skinted.
Next, my Focus decides to give up and since I was feeling exotic I did all the work myself and still it cost a small fortune.
Now, the best of all, my Mercedes Vito has the tell tale sound of sledgehammers striking against each other......its just blissful
Now others - pledge your hate!
