Fiat Stilo mulitwagon drivers door not locking with fob or key, any ideas?

Hi all, I have a 2003 Fiat Stilo Multiwagon. I have started having problems with the locking of the drivers door. It does not lock with the key fob, everything else locks apart from the drivers door and also can't lock the drivers door using the key.Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Since it will not lock with either fob or key this suggests that the lock itself is disabled - most likely disconnected by failure of the connecting rod snapping off at the end or simply disconnected.
I'm afraid the only way to find out which, is to prise the door lining away far enough to see in and find out which, then remedy as appropriate.

Should this not be the case, you will need a new lock.
