Hi all

I’m new to the form and have been reading allot of useful info.

The problem I’m having is that my girlfriend has the 1.9 td stillo and the power of the car is really terrible, to the point where the boost comes in at about 2500revs which is not strong at all then it just dies after about 3000 revs. I have cleaned out the EGR Valve checked out all the boost pipes and cleaned the maf sensor that sits on the air box, any idea as to why this would be happening?

EGR can be hard to clean out properly, I had mine changed not too expensive TBH. Try blanking the EGR off maybe see if that perks the blighter up a bit, if so swap the EGR. If not see if you can beg or borrow a good MAF to try? Run some Millers or Diesel Magic injector cleaner through it... all this assumes the air / fuel filters are new.

Thanks for your input.
i took the car to have the ecu checked and there were 8 fault codes, they erased them and then they advised me to drive a few km and then i went back and they checked the codes again and 1 poped up saying (error code P0380) does anyone know how to fix this and what needs to be replaced?

Pretty sure that P0380 is Glow plugs, either a circuit A malfunction, the wiring, glow plug relay, fuse, glow plugs, ECM take your pick! :( This is unlikely to cause poor running though, more likely difficult starting particularly in cold weather.
